Mobile Maintenance Gardener

Location: Mobile role, covering various sites in South West London and Surrey

Salary: Up to £35,000 per year (DOE)

Hours: Full-time, permanent – Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 16:30

Travel: Company van provided

Start Date: ASAP

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Maintenance Gardener to join a team dedicated to the care and upkeep of high-end gardens and outdoor spaces. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled gardener who is passionate about horticulture and enjoys working across a variety of sites.

Key Responsibilities

As a Mobile Gardener, your role will include:

• Carrying out all aspects of horticulture, including specialised and general garden care
• Lawn maintenance and treatment
• Seasonal planting, ground clearance, and ongoing maintenance
• Pruning, trimming, and tending to beds, borders, and containers
• Maintenance and cleaning of water features and irrigation systems
• Sweeping, cleaning, and upkeep of outdoor furniture and hard surfaces
• Safe operation and basic maintenance of horticultural machinery (training provided)
• Applying pesticides and herbicides (PA1 & PA6 desirable but not essential) with record keeping

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

• A recognised horticultural qualification (desirable)
• Proven gardening experience at a high level (private gardens and/or commercial sites)
• Knowledge of plants, lawns, and seasonal horticultural practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive, can-do attitude
• Good time management and ability to work under pressure
• A cooperative, enthusiastic, and professional approach

Requirements

• Full, clean UK driving licence (essential)
• Willingness to travel to multiple sites daily
• High levels of energy, motivation, and reliability
