Mobile Gardener – North West London

Location: Golders Green (NW11), Hampstead (NW3), St John’s Wood (NW8), and Central London (one day per week)
Salary: £30,000 – £32,000 per year (self-employed basis, paid weekly)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:30 (30-minute lunch break)
Travel: Van provided – must hold a full UK driving licence. The van will be taken home each evening.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a diligent and experienced Mobile Gardener to join a well-established gardening round across North West London. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong plant knowledge and the ability to maintain high standards across a portfolio of private gardens. You will be provided with a company van, which you will take home each evening.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out all general garden maintenance tasks to a high standard.
• The round may include up to 7 gardens per day, with job durations ranging from 30 minutes to 2 hours per site, depending on the size and maintenance needs of each garden.
• Prune, plant, weed, mow, and maintain lawns, beds, and borders.
• Manage a daily schedule of gardens across the designated areas.
• Liaise professionally with clients and ensure gardens are kept to exceptional standards.
• Maintain all tools and equipment in safe working condition.
• Keep the van clean, organised, and ready for daily use.

Requirements

• Proven experience in garden maintenance or horticulture.
• Strong plant knowledge and understanding of garden care techniques.
• Full, clean UK driving licence (essential) – must be confident driving in London.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weathers.
